After School
** All tours and intakes are by appointment only.
** Transportation is full for the 25-26 school year.
The 2025 - 2026 After-School Program runs from September 2nd through June 19th, 2026.
Our after-school hours are from 2:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. On a regular day, children are picked up Monday through Friday from local schools and come to our program on our Kids’ Place vans. This year we will be picking up from Salemwood School and Linden STEAM. Additional pick-ups from other schools will depend on supplemental vehicles, drivers and teachers. Children from other schools are welcomed to join our program with transportation provided by the parent or school.
A child’s world should be filled with learning and exploring - and it should be fun too! Each week is filled with a variety of fun and educational activities that make for an enriching school year! All of our activities incorporate opportunities to learn and grow. Special events and activities like Fire Prevention Week and Lights On After School add excitement to the school year and enrich their learning experience.
When your child arrives to Kids’ Place they will receive a wholesome and delicious snack and have an opportunity to sit and chat with peers and teachers. After snack they will go to homework or enrichment to receive support in math & reading skills. Homework and enrichment is followed by free time and chapel time where children learn the basics of Christian values through Bible stories, songs, games, and more. After chapel, your child will either continue their homework or go into an age-appropriate activity or a club such as Cooking, Science, Arts & Crafts, Sports, or team building activity just to name a few. After clubs or activities, your child will have had a fun-filled day and ready to go home.
Full Day
Kids' Place offers full day care during the school year from 8:00 A.M. - 5:30 P.M. when schools are closed due to school vacation or Teacher Professional Development Days. Full day care is also provided on snow days when it is safe to open the program.
Vacation weeks give you a taste of our summer program, with theme-based activities and awesome field trips. Give us a call if you're in a bind and need the care. We're here for you!
Summer Fun
The 2026 Summer Day Program will run from Monday, June 29th through Friday, August 14th, Monday - Friday. Please note that we will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of Independence Day. Our program opens daily at 7:30 A.M. and ends at 4:30 P.M. with the option to continue to our Extended Day Program which ends at 5:30 P.M.
We are looking forward to another exciting summer together. Our 2026 Summer Day Program will be accepting children entering 1st through 5th grade with a separate Middle School Program called IMPACT for children entering 6th through 8th grade. *Exceptions will be made for children who will be attending Kindergarten in the fall and turned five on or prior to April 1st. We are unable to accept children any younger. Children entering 9th grade who have not yet turned 15 will be able to join IMPACT.
Learning doesn’t stop just because it’s summer vacation. We strive to have a program that is both enriching and fun! Our weekly theme activities and clubs incorporate history, science, reading, and math. We also take opportunities to assist children in developing social skills, life skills and more!
Here at Kids’ Place, we enjoy the perfect balance of indoor and outdoor fun! We spend time inside our air-conditioned building and outside in our large field area, where there’s plenty of space to run, play, and enjoy both the sunshine and shade on beautiful summer days.
On Wacky Water Days, you’ll find us spending the afternoon enjoying water games, music, and dance parties! Children also look forward to our exciting weekly field trips, fun-filled activities, and the lasting friendships made all summer long. Don’t miss out on the fun!
Extended Day
Our 2026 Extended Day Program also known as After Care, is for parents who are unable to pick up by 4:30 P.M. This program runs from 4:30 P.M. - 5:30 P.M.
During this time your child will participate in a variety of activities and the fun will continue with options such as Hide n' Seek, movies, and group activities.
